Cannabis enthusiasts and culinary aficionados are always looking for innovative ways to incorporate the magic of the plant into their favorite recipes. One such delightful creation is cannabis-infused simple syrup. This sweet elixir is not only versatile but also lets you add a touch of THC to your cocktails, desserts, and beverages. In this blog post, we'll show you how to make cannabis-infused simple syrup using your infused sugar and a double boiler, ensuring that your precious THC remains intact and doesn't get scorched.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of cannabis-infused sugar (check out my recipe for cannabis-infused sugar!)

- 1 cup of water

 Equipment:

- Double boiler (or a heatproof bowl and a saucepan)

- Stirring utensil

- Airtight container for storage

Instructions:

1. Assemble Your Double Boiler:

If you're using a double boiler, fill the bottom pot with water and place it on the stove over medium heat. If you don't have a double boiler, you can use a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan filled with water.

2. Combine Cannabis-Infused Sugar and Water:

In the top part of your double boiler (or heatproof bowl), add 1 cup of cannabis-infused sugar and 1 cup of water.

3. Heat Gently:

Place the double boiler (or your improvised setup) on the stove over medium heat. Stir continuously until the cannabis sugar dissolves completely. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

Pro Tip: It's crucial to avoid letting the mixture come to a boil. This will prevent the THC from overheating and losing its potency.

4. Simmer and Infuse:

After the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes. This gentle heat will help ensure the sugar and water mix properly to form a syrup.
